Future Plans and Goals : In the immediate future, Cathy was hoping to compete at BRM Silverstone Safari Rally and then Rally of Melbourne but finances and RofM being cancelled has put a dampner on those plans. Next event is possibly Natcap Rally at the end of the year. She’s hoping to become a more competitive driver in both ACT and NSW rally series within the next year of two. Phil is hoping to get some time off from all the work PCD Engineering is bringing so he might have a drive of his newest work of art. The couple are also in the process of building their classic car, a BMW E30 M3 which they hope to start rallying next year. The team also own and compete in a custom made Khana Special Buggy that Phill has built. They hope to continue to run this more this year at the clubs John Watson Tri-series Khanacross’ and also maybe a few down the coast.
Company Profile: PCD started about 2002 doing all kinds of steel fabrication, including competition cars for rally and circuit. Since then they have done work for Toyota Aust - Corolla for Leanne Ferrier. Daihatsu Aust- Copen for Rick Bates. More recently the latest competition cars from Mazda Motorsport - 2 x Mazda 3 MPS cars for Alister McRae and Rick Bates. And the Mazda 2 gravel rally car. Porsche Centre Sydney - many Porsche GT3's and a GT2. PCD is also the 2008 Act Regional Rally Series Sponsor, contributing to the running of the series and to the prize pool.
